@jfernandez I require you to do a test. Can you put into whitelist of Email page the domain of the email addresses? (Only what there is after @).
Obviously comment your personalization in /etc/unbound/local.d/myMDaemon.conf and restart unbound service.
I think that it can works with this settings and it go into backup-config.
